How to install Windows 7/Xp/etc from USB Flash/Pen Drive Part 1

May be over number of time you have installed Vista or Windows 7 from your CD/DVD drive but if you were trying to install Windows 7 or Vista through USB drive than you will surely face some problem now or then, because it doesn’t provide such feature of booting option from USB flash drive.

Suppose, you have to install Windows 7 and your CD/DVD Rom is not working properly than USB booting is your last option.

Every installer CD of Windows is a bootable CD. When you insert the CD on your CD/DVD drive then prompt for “Press any key to boot from CD” will appear. Then hit any key. Later you can format your hard disk if you needed or make partition if required and lastly you can install Windows 7. Installing from USB flash drive has almost similar process. But most difficult part is making a bootable USB flash drive for Windows 7. Which I am going to discuss here –

Before beginning the process, the first thing you need to do is, download the “Win to Flash” software.

 This software does not need the installation. After running it’s setup file, the screen will appear something like this

Go to Task tab, which is next to welcome! Tab and choose suitable task you need. After that click ‘Create’.

Then the new screen appear, which looks like this
-->

Then, press next button.

Select the Windows installation disk path for first option i.e. J:\ and USB path for flash drive for second option i.e. L:\. Now after pressing Next button you will get the exact bootable copy which helps you with installation process.

So, what you think? isn’t it easy method to install Windows 7.
